The trip was good medicine for us, but it was tough being there without Johnny.

We're Back
We got back Saturday night from a week in California. Julie and I really needed to take the kids and go do something fun for a little while. We really did have a great time. We got to see some old friends, and made a few new ones. We also hit a couple of amusement parks during the week, while school is in session. That was really cool, but I was still really surprised at how many kids were there. I'm sure Julie will post a few pictures.

I'm honored you guys thought of me to compile Johnny's image catalog online for you. I published the images at: http://picasaweb.google.com/greg.peirce/johnnyRomano
They have a tool to create a slideshow and also a 'movie' using the images and sound files you provided. I'll look into creating the movie, cause the music tells half the story.
Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of this process. It's the least I can do for you guys.

I just viewed all the photos on the site Greg referred to. Thanks for sharing your photos. What a beautiful family. I so enjoyed seeing Johnny enjoying life. You guys are remembered each day. I care.
Julie and Mike,
I have not seen Mike in over 23 years. I was really surprised and excited to be watching the news and to see and hear such a very familiar face and voice and yet felt very sad for the reason and hearing about the loss of your son. I just couldn't believe my eyes looking at the photos. Johnny is a little Mike made all over again.
Mike if this reaches you, I am deeply sorry and would love to see you again and meet your wife. My heart goes out to you both. I am also sorry to hear about your home in Galveston. A lot of fun memories!
