SLIDE SHOW

I made a slideshow of Johnny's amazing life and my cousin Greg put it on the web for us.  It's probably too long for the average person but it is everything from the moment he was born through his birthday weekend before he went into the hospital May 26.

Jules,

All 353 pictures are for everybody! This time my tears were eclipsed by smiles and bursts of laughter as I flipped through the pictures. What a gift to share with all of us...to see Johnny and the rest of your lovely family in your most public and your most private moments.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Love,

Lisa D

I am not sure if people know that you can click onto each picture and it will make it bigger. I loved them all.

Johnny is near to my heart every day here at Oppe. I just wish I could have had more time to get to know this funny, silly and incredible brave kid. You guys were so lucky to have a kid like Johnny, but Johnny, Sophie and Joey are so lucky to have parents that are so dedicated and spend quality time with their kids. Every picture shows the true Romano spirit==one that is caring, thoughful and supportive of one another. Can't wait to have you guys back on the island.

Julie,
Like many people who read the blog, I didn't know Johnny, but have followed his journey since May. I looked at all 353 pictures. The one thing that struck me the most was how BIG his smile is in every picture! It's huge! How blessed you are to have a son like Johnny to bring such joy into your lives. Thank you for sharing the photos!

Julie,

Thank you so much for sharing those pictures with us. I only met Johnny twice, but what I always remembered about him was that huge smile. It truly did light up the world and warm your heart. A little angel right here on earth. My favorite picture of all, Johnny standing next to the girl in the bikini and he is so obviously checking out her backside! That made me laugh so hard. Thank you again. Thinking of all of you everyday.

Since I only had the opportunity of meeting my "great" nephew three times these photos were great to see. In pictures that I did see over the years I always saw Nana in Johnny and in many of these photographs I still see that. It's amazing to me what an accomplished skateboarder Johnny was at such a young age. Thinking of you all.

Love,
Aunt Dot

Julie and Mike,
I wad very apprehensive to watch the slide show. I thought I would be so sad instead it felt so great to see this little boy so happy in his pictures. I just can't find the words to express how much all of you have touched my heart. This little boy will never be forgotten even by us that did not know him personaly. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day,
Beverly
